Open Mic 2011

The club's 'Open Mic' night took place on 1st August and proved to be one of the most successful ever. We were fortunate to attract lots of new along with well kent faces to the club, and many were eager to take to the stage and entertain us. It was also great that many were younger musicians relishing the chance to use our sophisticated PA system and broaden their performing experience.

International travellers were represented with a lady from Denmark delighting us with her expertise on recorder, and a couple from Michigan in the USA who were happy just to listen.

It was a superb night and very well compered by Lesley.Met the visitors upstairs at the end of the night and they said it had been the highlight of their holiday... so we can expect a few more visitors from Denmark.
