A group a very hardy souls set off from Vane Farm on the 2011 Treasure Hunt, in weather conditions which typified this year’s summer. Fleeces and winter jackets were the order of the day as we drove off on another adventure into the unknown. After a very enjoyable 20 plus miles, which included retail stop for the ladies at Baxter’s Shop, everyone reached the final destination which was 1 Elm Row and a BBQ courtesy of David and Marette. Despite the cold weather we all braved the elements and awaited the announcement of the winners. It was a very close run thing and required a tie-break to flush out the winners. Duncan finally put everyone out of their misery and awarded the trophy to Lesley and Hugh Toner and Buddy
